Solo 38-year ophthalmology practice located 12 minutes from downtown Boston, available for takeover after October 1, 2017. This is the only ophthalmology practice in Winthrop (population 17,500). The two adjacent towns (combined population 94,500) are also served by one other ophthalmologist, in addition to myself.
Two fully set lanes: Haag-Streit slit lamps, Haag-Streit keratometers, AO minus cylinder phoropters, AO Topcon Goldmann-type perimeter, AO radiuscope, rigid contact lens and limited soft lens fitting inventories, Reliance 880 chairs and 7720 stands, MIRA indirects, and limited minor surgery instruments. Office records are computerized with Centricity EMR, and complete duplicate hardcopy records are available for all patient visits over the past seven years in office file cabinets.
Recent patient bookings have been decreased. Given an energetic Eye MD, patient visits could easily be increased, given that the two adjacent hospitals are seeking to increase their patient inventory, and the neighboring ophthalmologist is over-extended.
The office is available either fully equipped, or I would sell-off the unwanted equipment.
