We are looking for an associate leading to partnership in our comprehensive ophthalmology practice. Applicants may or may not have subspecialty training. We are a very busy medical and surgical practice with two ophthalmologists and two optometrists. We have an extensive backlog of patients with several months wait for patients to get in for appointments. A new ophthalmologist would be able to become busy quite quickly. Our practice invests in the latest laser, surgical, medical, and preoperative testing equipment. We provide for a wide variety of surgical procedures from advanced cataract treatment to LASIK. Surgical cases are performed primarily in a physician/corporate owned ambulatory surgery center nearby. We have Nextgen electronic medical records, an optical shop, and state of the art diagnostic technology.
We are located in southwest Michigan. Our area is a very family friendly location with lots to see and do. We have both a university and well respected liberal arts college in our city. There are excellent schools and an abundance of cultural as well as nature-oriented and outdoor activities.
We offer a generous salary plus bonus and excellent benefits including health and dental insurance, disability insurance, 401K retirement plan, generous vacation, and continuing medical education.
If you are an ophthalmologist who provides exceptional patient care with integrity and compassion, we would be interested in talking with you. One of our doctors will be at 2017 AAO meeting in New Orleans and at 2018 ASCRS meeting in Washington D.C. if you are attending.
Board Eligible or Board Certified. May still be in residency training, or relocating from another practice.
