Dartmouth-Hitchcock's Section of Ophthalmology is seeking a Glaucoma Specialist to join our staff. This position will provide medical and surgical eye care for our Academic Medical Center, Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center (DHMC), educational support for residency training programs, and will contribute to the academic mission of the group. Our practice includes 9 ophthalmologists with subspecialists in Retina, Cornea, Glaucoma, Oculo-Plastics, Neuro-Ophthalmology and Pediatric Ophthalmology. In addition, we have 2 Optometrists and 2 Orthoptists. Our multi-specialty clinic includes ophthalmic testing facilities (OCT, HVF, GVF, Photography) and minor surgical procedure rooms, as well as YAG, Argon and SLT Lasers. Surgery is conducted in both the hospital based operating room and an Outpatient Surgery Center located on the DHMC campus in Lebanon. We have affiliations with the nearby White River Junction Veterans Affairs Medical Center and Optometry and Ophthalmology practices in both Keene and Manchester, New Hampshire.
The ideal candidate will have completed an accredited residency training program in Ophthalmology. Fellowship training in Glaucoma and Board Certified or Eligible in Ophthalmology is required. The position includes a salary and faculty appointment at the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth, commensurate with experience and academic track record. Our new Glaucoma Specialist will be based at the DHMC Lebanon campus.
