Ophthalmic Consultants of Long Island (OCLI) seeks Cornea Fellowship Trained Surgeon. Highly respected and well-established multi-specialty practice seeks an ophthalmologist dedicated to the medical and surgical treatment of corneal diseases. Ideal candidate will have completed a cornea fellowship and interested in providing patients with state-of-the-art corneal surgical techniques. Candidates must be Board Certified / Board Eligible.
With 11 locations, the practice is a renowned, multi-specialty eye care group that offers a wide range of eye care services. Each physician at OCLI is board-certified with extensive medical training. Many are recognized for innovative medical achievements. OCLI has been serving Long Island since 1999 and currently consists of 29 MD’s, three OD’s, two PA’s, and nearly 400 employees. OCLI surgeons utilize Island Eye Surgicenter, which provides state of the art ophthalmic-only outpatient services to more than 35 eye surgeons – including retina – with six operating rooms. Other freestanding and hospital, campus-based outpatient ambulatory surgery centers are available and provide exceptional customer service and surgical experiences.
This position offers a competitive compensation package with a base salary and incentive opportunities, job flexibility, and employee benefits which include: fully paid malpractice coverage, fully paid family health and dental insurance, long-term disability insurance, a relocation allowance and reimbursement for professional expenses. Many associates have gone on to become partners in OCLI. This position will be based in the practice’s Eastern Suffolk County offices.
