Well-established, 50+ year-old thriving ophthalmology practice in Northeastern Ohio seeks to expand its staff with a fellowship trained glaucoma specialist or comprehensive ophthalmologist with a strong interest in glaucoma management. We are one of the largest private ophthalmology practices in Northeast Ohio and have a strong referral base from the surrounding medical communities. We are EHR compliant.
Our practice is the largest in the county and is highly respected in the community for providing caring, comprehensive treatment. Our focus is on general ophthalmology with subspecialties in cataract and refractive surgery, glaucoma, and neuro-ophthalmology. Doctor staffing includes (5) MDs, (3) full-time and (2) part-time, and (1) OD. Our current glaucoma specialist is looking to transition his glaucoma practice to a new fellowship-trained physician.
Our office staff of 35 includes (2) contact lens specialists, (14) technicians, (6) scribes, and (13) office staff. We have a large office allowing for multiple doctors to work simultaneously and a partnership opportunity will be available with the addition of a satellite office in the near future. Our office has an optical department as well.
Diagnostic equipment at our office includes: Cirrus HD OCT, Topcon TRC Retinal Camera, Humphrey Visual Field, Zeiss IOL Master, Zeiss Corneal Topographer, Acutome Ultrasound A-Scan, Topcon Infinity Screens, auto-refractor, auto-lensometer, and Topcon CV 5000 Refracting Units among others.
Surgical procedures and lasers are performed off-site at a state-of-the-art surgical facility approximately one mile from the office. The surgical facility has a staff of (23) and utilizes the latest technology including LenSx Femtosecond Laser, ORA Optiwave Refractive Analysis System, Lumenis and Ellex Lasers, Alcon Centurion Phacoemulsification Systems, and new Leica microscopes.
