The Department of Ophthalmology at the University of Pittsburgh is seeking a BC/BE Comprehensive Ophthalmologist to join our Department. The new associate will have the opportunity to practice truly "comprehensive" comprehensive ophthalmology and will help to grow the department's ophthalmic primary care effort by fostering ties to the primary and specialty care physicians at the UPMC Shadyside Hospital and Hillman Cancer Center in Pittsburgh. This is a unique opportunity for a new graduate or a more experienced comprehensive ophthalmologist. Teaching and research opportunities are available.
Our department accepts six residents and two glaucoma fellows per year. It is comprised of 29 clinical faculty and 17 basic scientists.
