Ochsner Health System is seeking a BC/BE PEDIATRIC OPHTHALMOLOGIST that is STRABISMUS FELLOWSHIP TRAINED to join our expanding practice. This is an excellent opportunity to join a department that offers an opportunity to treat both adults and children. The position is based in New Orleans and will help cover our ROP service. This position also offers academic opportunities along with an affiliation with University of Queensland School of Medicine.
The Department of Ophthalmology & Optometry includes 31 ophthalmologists and optometrists who provide ophthalmic and optometric care at our facilities located in the New Orleans, North Shore and Baton Rouge regions. We offer a full range of services for the treatment of advanced eye disease and corrective surgery, providing comprehensive diagnosis and treatment for patients of all ages for the following eye disorders and conditions. A premier regional leader in ophthalmic care and education, the department facilitates the training and development of future ophthalmologists, optometrists, and support staff by participation in the Ophthalmology residency training, the Ochsner Optometry residency program and the Delgado Ophthalmic Technician Program.
