This practice growth, coupled with a low overhead, will allow for the possibility of a very large income within a few years of joining our practice. We are a very busy referral-based practice that demands quality and ethical surgical care combined with the ability to be very personable and work closely with our referral network and our own medical staff.
This is a PARTNERSHIP TRACK position, with a reasonable and affordable buy-in after 18 months. Competitive compensation and benefit package including:
Generous income guarantee with bonus opportunity,
Ownership option in both the Ophthalmology Practice and the Ambulatory Surgery Center after 18 months.
The practice is located in Evansville, Indiana, in the southwest corner of Indiana. The population of Evansville and surrounding metropolitan area is 360,000 and there is a draw area of 750,000 to 800,000. Evansville is located within a 2-3 hour drive of Louisville, Nashville, St. Louis, and Indianapolis. A low cost of living, excellent schools, very affordable housing, and all of the amenities of Evansville make this area an attractive place to live and raise a family. In 2008, Evansville was voted best city to “live, work, and, play” by readers of Kiplinger’s magazine. Additionally, Evansville is blessed with a strong medical community and a generous payer mix. Finally, the state of Indiana has Tort reform, thus, medical malpractice rates are very low. Evansville, Indiana, is truly a wonderful place to both live and practice quality medicine.
Preference will be given to experienced surgeons but we are open to strong candidates who are completing residency training in 2017 or 2018. Interest in areas of subspecialty such as oculoplastics or glaucoma would be a plus but are not necessary.
