PROGRESSIVE VISION INSTITUTE is accepting applications for a highly qualified, full-time Glaucoma Specialist at its new facility in Allentown, PA. Candidates must have successfully completed a fully accredited ophthalmology residency training program and an accredited fellowship in glaucoma. Board certification (current or within the first year of hire) is required. A team-oriented attitude and excellent clinical skills are required. This position will be primarily glaucoma, but duties will also include some comprehensive care.
Progressive Vision Institute (PVI), has eight offices located in Pottsville, Shamokin, Wyomissing, Allentown, Easton, Oaks, Philadelphia (Bustleton Avenue), and Philadelphia (Lehigh Avenue) and is currently expanding. We are seeking a Fellowship-Trained Glaucoma Specialist to join our team of 12 doctors. PVI has a well-established patient base and a strong referral network.
Progressive Vision INSTITUTE has three state licensed, AAAHC accredited, technologically-advanced Ambulatory Surgery Centers located in Pottsville, Wyomissing, and Allentown.
The practice is the main provider of medical and surgical eye care in eastern Pennsylvania. Our staff of over 100 is very experienced, well-trained, stable, and friendly. The ophthalmologist should be confident and motivated and have excellent surgical skills. Strong work ethic is required to match current physicians and staff.
