This opportune position involves primarily a clinical practice and teaching. The selected candidate will be provided a clinically active and well established practice. Teaching responsibilities which include didactic presentations as well as clerkship experiences for medical students and residents. Board eligibility/certification for this position is required at the time of hire. Applicants currently in an ophthalmology residency, a practicing general ophthalmologist or fellowship trained are encouraged to apply. Opportunities for research are available if desired. A part time Veterans Affairs Medical Center appointment may be available if desired. Salary for this position is derived from clinical practice income and outside sources. The position is an academic appointment at a level of Assistant or Associate Professor and is non-tenure/clinical track.
