The Jones Eye Institute (JEI) is searching for a board-certified or board-eligible, fellowship-trained cornea/external disease specialist at the Asst/Assoc/Full Professor level. The Institute is a nine-story, state-of-the-art building on the campus of the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock.
JEI offers the opportunity to teach, perform research and build an excellent university-based clinical and surgical practice. Facilities include 71 lanes, 4 dedicated operating rooms, a 10,000 sq. ft. basic science research laboratory, retinal and ocular genetics center, eye bank, surgical simulation and education center, and fully accredited Ophthalmic Medical Technology program. Patient care is provided at University Hospital and Arkansas Children’s Hospital. All subspecialties are represented by our 16 faculty and 9 residents.
