The Martinsburg West Virginia Veterans Affairs Medical center is currently recruiting a medical retina specialist to work part-time (3 days a week/ 0.6 FTE). Martinsburg, West Virginia is located within 60 minutes from the Northern Virginia area /Greater DC metropolitan area with many doctors enjoying the reverse commute to Martinsburg. The medical retina specialist will be seeing retina and comprehensive patients, performing retina lasers/retina injections, and also overseeing residents in the retina clinic and comprehensive clinic. Requirements for the position include the following: US citizenship, a full and restricted license from any state, board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology, and maintain current ACLS and BLS certification. The medical retina specialist will also share call duties and join existing 2.5 ophthalmologists in the department. Our great salary and benefits package combine with a good work environment.
