A well-respected, progressive and expanding practice needs additional ophthalmologist(s) to meet the high regional demand. The practice facility is a beautiful, state-of-the-art 18,000 square foot Institute, complete with an Optical shop and Cafe. Two Ophthalmologist, one Optometrist and 30 associates work together in a very positive atmosphere with over 22,000 office visits per year. The Ophthalmologists perform over 2,300 procedures per year. The practice commitment to excellent patient care utilizing the most advanced technology has led to continued steady growth and the demand for additional providers.The practice has recently received a Certificate of Need for a Freestanding Ambulatory Surgery Center, with construction starting later this year.
Either a Comprehensive Ophthalmologist/Surgeon or a Pediatric Ophthalmologist would help meet the current need. Presently, the Senior Ophthalmologist is providing Pediatric Ophthalmic care for the region, with a population of 410,000+ in our county alone. We are hoping to find a candidate with local ties to Michigan, so a long term commitment would be ideal. The compensation package is quite generous with 401K, Health Benefits, and a base Salary of $300,000 plus incentive pay.
We will be attending the Academy Meeting in Chicago, so an interview onsite is possible, if the position has not been filled.
