Seeking comprehensive ophthalmologist wanting to work, run and own a small, well equipped and staffed 2 person practice in Nashville, TN at St Thomas West Hospital. Require affable, hardworking and resourceful person interested in providing general ophthalmology services with a great team of people in a larger hospital system with a growing number of young primary care physicians. Will introduce but will need to personally visit these referring practices. No salary offered as this is a situation where one works best on a percentage of revenue basis with no limitations followed by a buy in for the hard assets and licenses of the practice. Generous contract for ED and hospital consultation work. No night operating capacity. 6-8 week minimum but can do more. SRS EMR 5th year with staff inclusive business and insurance experts, 3 front desk staff, 7 techs and a contact lens coordinator. Single office in eye center building adjacent to hospital with direct support in retina, glaucoma, eye plastics and cornea. Neuro, peds at Vanderbilt University. Multi specialty ASC adjacent with Alcon equipment and later opportunity for investment as volume increases. Optical dispensary on first floor also available for investment.

TN Medical License, ABO certified or eligible with registered dates, hospital and ASC privileges, Medicare certification along with at least 5 major insurance providers in the area. Need OMIC or SVMIC coverage. Can start whenever these are secured and we will help administratively with these.
Aside from these, must be a culturally sensitive team player in order to work with friendly, expert and loyal staff who will make sure professionally that you are integrated into the medical community. Self starting and resourceful personality with ability to take suggestions. Desire to make things work.
Additional Salary Information: Generous hospital and ED contract with appearance fees (no per diem). Can work as many weeks as desired.
