If you are looking for a practice that is established and growing, where you can do a significant amount of surgery, and where you can live in a #1-rated town, then we have an opportunity for you!
We are seeking a well-trained and talented surgeon (Board Certified or Board Eligible) who has a pleasant personality, who possesses sound judgement and integrity, and who will fit into an office culture that is down-to-earth and ego-free.
Currently we have two comprehensive ophthalmologists at our practice: one who is corneal fellowship trained, and one who is a highly-accomplished refractive surgeon. Our practice also employs two medically-oriented optometrists. Since joining the practice just two years ago, our younger MD is already performing over 300 cataracts per year, and he has already performed refractive surgery on over 250 eyes. During this time, our practice has also experienced tremendous growth: we have seen our cataract surgery volume increase by 10-15% per year, and our LASIK volume has also continued to rise.
Our practice has a well-implemented strategic plan and good business acumen, allowing us to enjoy continual growth for the past 10+ years. Recently, our catchment area in the region has expanded even further with the opening of a new and quickly-successful satellite office. We are therefore seeking another associate to help address this accelerating rate of practice growth.
Our practice's reputation in the community is “5 Star”. We are well-known for our caring approach to patient care, as well as our excellent outcomes. Over the years, we have won countless awards for quality patient care, and our social media ratings from patients are nearly perfect! You will inherit this if you join our practice. This is truly a wonderful opportunity for the right candidate! We are seeking a full-time physician, but part-time could be considered. You can choose to be an employee, or you can choose to buy into the practice after one year.
Our faculty is state-of-the-art with an ASC on-site. The clinic is a beautiful 7000-foot space with over 10 exam lanes and brand-new equipment. Our staff is wonderful and highly-experienced (with an average tenure of 10 years!). They are upbeat, hard-working, and drama-free, and the whole team truly enjoys working together. Having such a reliable staff is an amazing asset, and not something that is easy to find!
Our community is frequently rated among the highest in the U.S. for quality of life, healthiest city, best outdoor activities, most scenic, and much more. We enjoy beautiful summers with sailing, camping, and outdoor concerts; breathtaking autumns with hiking, biking, and limited-edition microbrews; active winters with skiing, skating, snowmobiling, and snowshoeing; and budding springs with traveling exhibits and local sports. Between the activities, the lakes and mountains, the emphasis on education (with 5 nearby colleges), the culture, the community, and the lack of crime, this is the perfect place to raise a family.
