The Department of Ophthalmology at the University of Florida College of Medicine-Jacksonville seeks to add a full-time Comprehensive Ophthalmologist, preferably with an interest in Cornea and External Diseases. Major responsibilities include providing excellence in patient care, teaching, and clinical research contributing to a diverse academic eye practice.
The Department consists of a small but growing group of talented ophthalmologists and optometrists, who offer a wide array of eye care services to the Jacksonville community. Our specialties include cornea and external disease, glaucoma, anterior segment surgery, diseases of the retina, uveitis, ocular tumors, oculoplastic and orbital surgery, neuro-ophthalmology, contact lenses, low vision and electrophysiology. We are a multi-specialty single location academic practice with a robust clinical volume. The Department has its own ophthalmology-specific surgery center adjacent to its clinical offices.

The University of Florida College of Medicine-Jacksonville is the largest of the three UF colleges - medicine, nursing and pharmacy - located on the approximately 110-acre UF Health Jacksonville campus.
