Applicants must have graduated from a fully accredited ophthalmology residency and be eligible for licensure in the state of Iowa.
Subspecialty training in an ASOPRS-approved fellowship is required. Candidates must be certified or eligible for certification by the American Board of Ophthalmology.
Individuals are expected to have excellent medical and surgical skills in oculoplastics. A strong commitment to resident and fellow training, clinical care, and research in an academic setting is also necessary.
