Due to rapid growth and large patient volume, Grene Vision Group is currently recruiting another vitreo-retinal surgeon to join our busy multi-specialty practice.
Grene Vision Group is one of the largest multispecialty eyecare groups in the country. Our practice currently includes 13 MD ophthalmologists covering all major ophthalmic subspecialties, as well as 36 referring ODs in South-Central Kansas. Our large referral base also includes providers outside the practice offering opportunity for rapid practice growth.
We are seeking a fellowship-trained BC/BE vitreoretinal surgeon for a long-term opportunity working in a positive and rewarding environment. The selected retina specialist would enjoy competitive salary and benefits, a built-in referral network (47 internal non-retina providers), and shared operational costs to allow doctors to focus on what they do best - patient care. Marketing efforts would be provided for the new vitreoretinal surgeon to help ensure a smooth referral flow. The specialist would spend the majority of clinic time at our two main Wichita locations, which are located approximately fifteen minutes apart. The physician would spend about two half days per week in the OR at a local hospital or ASC, and provide valuable services at a designated satellite location (or locations) one to two days per month to serve patients outside of the Wichita area.
Wichita is the largest city in Kansas with a metro population of approximately 650,000 people. Known as "The Air Capital of the World," Wichita is home to a Division 1 University (Wichita State) and multiple large employers (Koch Industries, Beechcraft, Spirit AeroSystems, Textron Aviation, McConnell Air Force Base). As a large medical hub for the region, Wichita provides care for a large percentage of Kansas, especially Central and Western Kansas. Big city amenities with little commutes plus a low cost of living equal a high quality of life for residents. Numerous museums, a nationally renowned zoo, theaters, restaurants, shopping centers, bike paths, sports leagues, and local events provide great entertainment options.
Grene Vision Group is seeking a fellowship-trained BC/BE vitreoretinal surgeon. The candidate may be finishing their fellowship in Spring 2019 or already practicing and interested in joining a stable, growing multi-specialty group with many benefits.
