Loma Linda University Faculty Medical Group, Department of Ophthalmology, is seeking a full time BC/BE Ophthalmologist, fellowship trained in Vitreo-Retinal Surgery, to join our group of ophthalmic subspecialties and generalists. Candidates should have an MD degree and be board certified or board eligible in ophthalmology, with at least two years of subspecialty training in Vitreo-Retinal diseases. Applicant must have demonstrated skills in the area of surgical Vitreo-Retinal disease and medical retina. Appointment rank will be commensurate with academic accomplishments and experience.
Will provide high quality clinical care to patients with Vitreo-Retinal and medical retinal diseases at Loma Linda University Health and affiliated teaching hospitals. A background interest in clinical or basic research in retinal diseases is desired. Duties include sharing the responsibility with existing faculty for didactic and clinical training of: residents, fellows, and practicing ophthalmologists in Vitreo-Retinal and medical retinal diseases. Coverage, call for subspecialty, and other service items are also included.
