We are currently searching for a fellowship trained glaucoma sub-specialist or a cataract surgeon to join our Eastern Iowa staff to be based out of our Iowa City or Cedar Rapids clinics. Our patient load has demanded that we add an additional cataract surgeon to help with this demand. This position will most likely be based in our Iowa City clinic due to continued growth potential. Cataract surgical volume for this position is expected to be in the 700-1200 range annually. Referral relationships are well established with our organization and the successful candidate will be provided opportunities to strengthen these relationships in this subspecialty. Our Clinic has been in operation for 100 years and all ophthalmologists, who have established careers here, have enjoyed a fulfilling practice both financially and professionally. Our average physician compensation is typically in the top 10% nationally. The practice has equal ownership across the physician staff and is managed on a democratic basis with one vote per physician. These arrangements have created an environment that all Wolfe physicians have found very appealing and rewarding.
We are searching for a highly motivated, fellowship trained, glaucoma ophthalmologist that is interested in joining a very busy practice with a large loyal referral base. The successful candidate will have demonstrated their ability to achieve goals through hard work and quality decision making. The professional should have strong surgical interest and skills.
Employer will assist with relocation costs.
Additional Salary Information: Compensation will be commensurate with experience. This position is expected to be on our traditional partner track.
