About Takle Eye Group
Takle Eye Group was founded in 1973. Over the past 40 plus years, we have grown from a single doctor to 4 MD's and one OD practice built on the premise of patient focused care. We offer comprehensive eye care in general ophthalmology and are growing into several subspecialty areas. We have been a satellite clinic for Emory Eye Center's retina division for over 15 years. In addition to providing general, comprehensive eye care, our specialty trained physicians offer treatment options for advanced cataracts, glaucoma, cornea and external eye diseases, retinal conditions, and dry eye. Our oculoplastic surgeon treats abnormalities of the eyelids, lacrimal system, orbits, and surrounding tissues. Our optical shops, located in each of our offices, are staffed with licensed opticians who are specially trained to determine the best lenses for your patients visual needs. Our contact lens department offers both routine fittings as well as specialty fittings for medically necessary contact lenses. We have just built a state of the art ASC to meet the demands of our surgical volume.
