Pepose Vision Institute is a premier multispecialty practice (3 anterior segment surgeons, 2 medical optometrists and 1 retina subspecialist) looking to add a second fellowship-trained, board-certified or board-eligible (just completing fellowship) retina surgeon. Located in a western suburb of St. Louis, the practice has built a tremendous internal and external referral base, consisting of community-based ophthalmologists, optometrists, primary care providers, family members and word of mouth. The practice hosts 6-8 CE events annually, which provide opportunities for our physicians to cultivate relationships with community-based optometrists. The practice is world-renowned for its commitment to patient quality and significant contributions to vision research.
Successful candidate would work with an outstanding senior retina physician who is Principal Investigator for multiple clinical studies, has developed longstanding professional relationships with industry, and lectures both nationally and internationally. We are an ideal practice for that rare clinician who wants to bring tomorrow’s eye innovations to their patients today.
Our primary facility – a 38,000 s.f. state-of-the-art building with state-of-the–art equipment - includes an ASC, thereby allowing our surgeons to more effectively manage their time between clinic and surgical responsibilities. All of our surgeons are accommodated with reserved, block time for their cases. Our physicians hold appointments at a local medical school and/or College of Optometry. The practice’s management team is first-rate, thereby permitting its physicians to focus 100 percent on patient care.
Position provides a competitive salary base, compensation incentives, and outstanding benefits, including 401K, paid vacation and CE time, health/dental/disability/life insurance, and much more.
