We are recruiting a third vitreoretinal surgeon to join our group. The physician can anticipate being clinically and surgically busy from the start. The surgeon may limit their practice to vitreoretinal diseases or provide additional ophthalmological services as desired.
A generous compensation package will be provided based on experience and qualifications. Available benefits include paid time off, health insurance, HRA, dental insurance, malpractice insurance, and a 401K retirement plan.
The practice mission is to provide high-quality medical and surgical care to patients with compassion. We emphasize value to patients and referring providers, quality of care, patient satisfaction, clinical research, and the use of sophisticated clinical teams to support physicians.
Our clinics have state-of-the-art equipment that includes an electronic medical record and practice management system, refractive and cataract instrumentation, Axis image server, digital color fundus photography, Spectralis OCT, OCT angiography, multicolor reflectance imaging, FA, ICG, and ocular ultrasonography (diagnostic A, B, and UBM).
A clinical research team supports several clinical trials funded by academic and private institutions.
We have multiple clinic locations in Oregon serving Eugene and surrounding areas. Surgical suites are available at two affiliated surgery centers and hospital surgical suites.
The practice enjoys a strong referral base and relations with local physicians. Emergency call is rotated across ophthalmologists in the community and minimally disruptive to the surgeon’s lifestyle.
Responses to this posting will be confidentially received by Albert O. Edwards, MD, PhD, MBA.
