Join a wonderfully supportive atmosphere within a large, well-respected multi-specialty medical group of 350+ providers over a range of 40+ specialties. The Vancouver Clinic ophthalmology department currently consists of a pediatric ophthalmologist, a general ophthalmologist and an optometrist. We have had tremendous growth over the last few years and are recruiting for a BC/BE comprehensive ophthalmologist. Subspecialty training (especially in glaucoma, retina, cornea or oculoplastics) is a plus but this position will require comfort in providing some general ophthalmology care to adult patients. This is a great opportunity to expand a general practice with the ability to focus on any special areas of interest. This position can be tailored to a 4 or 5 day work week.
We have our own Ambulatory Surgery Center, state of the art equipment, and well-trained ophthalmic technicians and support staff. The successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills, a commitment to patient care, and excitement about practicing evidence-based medicine in a collegial, cohesive group.
The position is office based with one of the most respected multi-specialty clinics in Washington. As a physician owned and governed group, we aim to build a stimulating practice setting based upon teamwork and mutual respect within our organization.
