The successful candidate for this role will have:
Experience as an executive leader, in an ambulatory surgery center where more than 6,000 surgeries are performed each year.
A passion for recruiting, leading, inspiring, developing, and motivating your team, while focusing on superior patient care.
Knowledge of essential Human Resource functions including, but not limited to credentialing, tracking and reporting, scheduling, policies and procedures, records management, work performance reviews; Peer Review evaluations; as well as promotion and disciplinary action, including termination.
Strengths in Quality Improvement performance and studies, Risk Management, and regulatory, compliance, and reporting.
Strong aptitude for collecting and analyzing the data necessary to evaluate and report on key performance indicators, including the financial health of the center, staff and physician productivity, equipment and facilities needs/procurement, and business development areas of opportunity.
A thorough understanding of Infection Control strategies, plans, procedures, and surveillance needs.
The ability to assist with pre-op and post-op as needed (back up/circulator).
Fluency, and a high level of personal accountability, relative to meeting and maintaining all surery center regulatory and compliance requirements, including state, federal, and AAAHC accreditation.
Knowledge and high personal accountable for the maintenance of HIPAA, OSHA, and CLIA regulatory compliance.
Superior verbal and written skills, necessary to convey/discuss complex concepts with varying levels of authority.
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. BSN or MSN preferred.
Surgical services and/or ASC experience required.
CASC certification within 5 years employment, recommended.
Current State licensure.
Certified in CPR & ACLS.
