The ideal candidate is an MD or MD/PhD who has advanced training in the medical and surgical management of Vitreoretinal diseases. In addition to clinical and surgical proficiency, a research program with extramural funding related to this area of expertise is desired. The faculty member will have an opportunity to build an outstanding program in retinal research, working in a highly interactive and exciting collaborative environment with distinguished researchers throughout Johns Hopkins University. While rank to be an Assistant or Associate Professor is preferred, rank and support will be dependent upon the successful applicant's experience and accomplishments.
