The Wilmer Eye Institute is recruiting a physician-scientist to expand its inherited retinal dystrophies (IRDs) program. The recruited faculty member will have an opportunity to build an outstanding program in retinal dystrophy research, working in a highly interactive and exciting collaborative environment with distinguished researchers throughout Johns Hopkins University. The ideal candidate will have an MD or MD/PhD and advanced training in the management of IRDs. In addition to clinical proficiency, a research program with extramural funding related to the IRDs is desired. Rank and support will be dependent upon the successful applicant's experience and accomplishments.
