Talley Eye Institute is a busy, well-respected practice in need of a medical or surgical retina specialist due to tremendous growth. Our current providers include 2 retina surgeons, 1 cornea specialist, 2 general ophthalmologists, and 2 residency trained optometrists. The new retina specialist will initially see 30+ patients per day and, if so desired, could also evaluate and perform approximately 500 cataract surgeries per year. Our newly opened 22,000 square foot clinic provides great patient flow with a robust EHR with Lynx drug inventory system, an Optos camera with fluorescein, PASCAL laser, a cryopexy unit, PDT laser, and multiple Zeiss Cirrus OCTs. Surgery will be performed in our highly efficient, brand new ASC with an expected first year volume of 250-275 vitrectomies, utilizing a Constellation and BIOM. There is huge potential for practice growth during the first few years. This practice growth, coupled with a low overhead, will allow for the possibility of a very large income within a few years of starting your practice.
This is a partnership track position, with a reasonable and transparent buy-in offered after 18 months of employment to both the practice and the ASC. Employment status includes a generous base salary, a signing bonus and/or stipend, and a production bonus that would equate to an anticipated net income of approximately $600,000 the first year. All standard benefits are included, plus 401k participation. We are a very busy referral based practice that demands quality and ethical surgical care combined with the ability to be very personable and work closely with our referral network and our own medical staff.
