Solo private practice in Scarsdale, New York is seeking a glaucoma fellow or recently trained glaucoma specialist with excellent surgical skills and excellent bedside manner, for a full time position. You will start off by doing mostly general ophthalmology while building a glaucoma practice. You will join an honest, ethical, respected, established, easy going, general ophthalmologists with 25 years of experience. The office is new, modern and well equipped. The practice is looking for a future partner, not a permanent or short term employee. Good starting salary for this very desirable location to live and practice, just 30 minutes to New York City’s Grand Central Station in affluent Westchester County with some of the best public school systems in the country. Benefits include malpractice insurance, 401k (after 1 year), an allowance for CME, hospital dues, licensing, etc. Starting salary of $225,000, with bonus of 30% on income earned over 2.5 times your base salary.
Call is very reasonable and typically quiet. Plan would be for partnership to start after 2 and a half years with avery fair and reasonable buy-in, with letter of intent to be offered at time that employment contract is offered.
