Sacramento Eye Consultants has been serving the Sacramento Valley for over 30 years as well-respected cataract, corneal, and glaucoma surgeons. The group is seeking a fellowship-trained glaucoma and cataract surgeon with experience and interest in MIGS, traditional glaucoma surgery, and refractive cataract surgery. This is a partnership-track position. Current staffing includes 3 cornea specialists, 2 glaucoma specialists, and 1 optometrist.
Sacramento Eye Consultants is a research-focused practice, and has been involved in more than 25 studies with the majority of those medications and surgical devices. The candidate would have the opportunity to participate in cutting-edge glaucoma medical and surgical trials.
Our office utilizes EPIC EHR, and has a variety of the latest diagnostic equipment. Cataract and glaucoma surgery will be performed in our ASC or at a hospital outpatient surgery center, depending on the patient insurance. Our ASC is well equipped with a LenSx laser, ORA, and centurion phaco units. The practice is on very sound financial footing, with overhead well-managed and controlled by our MBA educated and experienced practice administrator.
