Sterling Vision is seeking a subspecialist or comprehensive ophthalmologist to join our group of 10 optometrists and ophthalmologists. We invite you to provide cataract-refractive surgery and other patient services within your scope of care (e.g., cornea, ocular surface disease, glaucoma, oculoplastic surgery, medical retina, etc). A clinical research team supports clinical trials funded by academic and private institutions.
We are interested in a full-time associate to work 3 to 5 days per week. Individuals with a practice focus and interest in research or outside activities such as consulting would be welcome. Candidates interested in employment or ownership are welcome to apply. The new associate would be a board-eligible or certified ophthalmologist and qualify for a medical license in Oregon.

We have multiple clinic locations in Eugene, Oregon and surrounding communities. Additionally, we have a Surgical suites are available at affiliated surgery centers and hospital surgical suites.
Our clinics have state-of-the-art equipment that includes an electronic medical record (MDI) and practice management system (NexTech), Axis image server, autorefractors, keratographers, optical biometers, digital color fundus photography (Topcon), Spectralis OCT, multicolor reflectance imaging, FA, ICG, and ocular ultrasonography (Aviso S diagnostic A, B, and UBM) and
The practice is supported by well-trained receptionists, technicians, scribes, angiographers, and ultrasonographers that enable efficient, physician-friendly, effective, and safe patient care. Mid-level managers support the clinical, research and administrative functions of the practice. A General Manager supports the managers and physicians. Surgeons can enjoy a high volume of patient care without undue burden.
The practice enjoys a strong referral base and relations with local physicians. Emergency call is rotated across all ophthalmologists in the community and minimally disruptive to the surgeon’s lifestyle (2 to 3 weeks per year). New associates should anticipate taking additional call to help grow their practice.
