East Tennessee State University, James H. Quillen College of Medicine, Department of Surgery is seeking a general ophthalmologist. The position is located in upper east Tennessee and provides the beauty of four seasons, reasonable cost of living and many outdoor activities.
This opportune position involves primarily a clinical practice and teaching. The selected candidate will be provided a clinically active and well established practice. Salary for this position is derived from clinical practice income and outside sources. The position is an academic appointment at a level of Assistant or Associate Professor and is non-tenure/clinical track. Teaching responsibilities which include didactic presentations as well as clerkship experiences for medical students and residents. Board eligibility/certification for this position is required at the time of hire. A part time Veterans Affairs Medical Center appointment may be available if desired.
