Ophthalmology practice in Central NewYork is seeking an MD or DO candidate with a commitment to patient care and excellent anterior segment surgical skills. Surgeon will be busy with substantial cataract volume from the start due to succession planning. The primary focus will be general ophthalmology with an opportunity to develop sub-specialty interests (glaucoma, cornea, plastics) if so inclined. Fellowship training in Glaucoma, Cornea or Plastics would be a substantial benefit. The current practicing physicians are fellowship trained in anterior segment surgery and medical retina. Office offers EHR, scribe support, and state-of-the-art diagnostics and therapeutics.
There is an option to operate at an ambulatory surgery center as well as a hospital setting. The ASC is equipped with Centurion phacoemulsification machines, ORA and LenSx. The office boasts a highly qualified support staff.
No hospital or ER call.
