Looking for a positive and proactive individual with excellent management, leadership and organizational skills to conduct the planning, coordination and execution of all business and operational matters in a 2 office, 3 MD, 2 OD comprehensive practice. Duties include monitoring all financial and operational activities including maintenance of accounts payable and bill-paying, daily cash management, the monthly preparation with periodic review and analysis of financial and operational reports and coordinating tasks with the Front Office/Billing Administrator and the Clinical Director. Identify problem areas, provide recommendations and implement improvements to approved policies. Evaluate leases, participation agreements and other contracts. Stay apprised of regulatory and economic changes in health care, present recommendations as needed and oversee compliance with laws/regulations. Oversee the implementation of personnel recruiting, orientation and reviews, ensure maintenance of personnel records/benefits and provide recommendations for changes in policies. Coordinate credentialing of physicians and personnel. Liaise and implement Physician Group Incentive Programs and MIPS. Further develop and maintain the corporation web site.
At least five years Management experience in a medical group, preferably in Ophthalmology, with Optical experience desirable.
Working knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, commercial insurance, managed care plans and medical computer billing systems.
Financial skills and sufficient knowledge of accounting to operate a computerized billing and patient management system.
Demonstrated excellence in communication skills with the ability to promote inter-office and employee cooperation, awareness and team-building.
