The West Virginia University Eye Institute, Department of Ophthalmology, announces an outstanding opportunity for a fellowship-trained Vitreoretinal surgeon (ranks available: Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor). The successful candidate will be expected to join the faculty rank at West Virginia University Eye Institute headquartered in Morgantown, WV.
Duties: the adequate candidate will be comfortable diagnosing, treating and managing a high volume of medical and surgical retinal conditions with a high surgical volume expected from the onset. Additional responsibilities include mentoring and teaching retina fellows, ophthalmology residents and medical students alike.
Qualifications: Applicants must have MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent and be eligible to obtain West Virginia medical license. Candidates must be board certified/eligible in Ophthalmology. Candidates must have completed a two-year vitreoretinal fellowship. All qualifications must be met by the time of appointment.
