Wheaton Eye Clinic is owned and operated by its physicians. The glaucoma specialist position is a partnership track offer that in due course provides additional ownership opportunities. Because our growth strategy is based on cultivating vibrant practices for our young colleagues, the salary structure is extremely favorable to junior physicians. Due to our practice growth, expansion, and physician retirements, recently hired ophthalmologists have been busy in the first year with consults, surgery, and patient visits. Our glaucoma specialists practice completely within their subspecialty.
Efficiency is highly valued at Wheaton Eye Clinic and the supporting staff is well-trained and well-managed. The practice utilizes Epic for medical records. Our state-of-the-art equipment includes recently purchased HFA units, Spectralis OCT, anterior segment OCT, UBM, ERG, Optos, Goldmann Visual Fields, and IOL Master.
The ASC is exceptionally efficient. Our four dedicated ophthalmic operating rooms are equipped with Centurion Phaco units. The staff is expertly trained and familiar with traditional glaucoma surgery as well as most MIGS options.
While busy when on emergency call, the call schedule is evenly distributed among colleagues, and is infrequent due to the number of ophthalmologists.
