Mid Atlantic Retina (MAR), based at the Retina Service of Wills Eye Hospital with offices throughout Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware, is recruiting a full-time uveitis specialist to expand its Uveitis Unit. Applicants must be board-certified with subspecialty fellowship training in uveitis and a strong interest in patient care and teaching medical students, residents, and retina fellows. Weekly Wills Eye Hospital conference participation and interest in advancing scientific knowledge through clinical trials is desired. In addition, candidates should have a commitment to assist existing faculty with the development of an accredited uveitis fellowship starting in the 2021-22 academic year.
The Uveitis Unit within MAR was created in 2014 and sees roughly 500 new patients and 4000 follow-up patients per year, with substantial growth opportunities in the tri-state region.
