Requirements
Candidates must be a board-certified or board-eligible ophthalmologist with strong clinical and surgical skills. The practice is open to a general ophthalmologist or a fellowship-trained subspecialist who is interested in joining a busy, well-established, physician-led group on Guam.
Ideal candidates will have:
MD or DO degree
Completion of an accredited ophthalmology residency
Board certification or board eligibility in ophthalmology
Eligibility for medical licensure in Guam
Strong clinical, surgical, and patient-care skills
Interest in building a high-quality, comprehensive, or subspecialty practice
Ability to work well in a collegial, team-oriented environment
Commitment to excellent patient care and long-term practice growth
Fellowship training is welcomed but not required. The most important fit is an ophthalmologist who wants to join an independent, non-private-equity practice, control their own destiny, and build a strong clinical and surgical presence in a highly attractive practice environment.
