Description
Vitreoretinal Consultants of New York (VRCNY), a premier retina only group, is seeking a board certified/board eligible, fellowship trained Vitreoretinal Surgeon, due to substantial growth. This position would be based in our Queens and Long Island locations and would offer the opportunity to practice with established physicians in areas with an excellent, well-established referral base.
Founded in 1981, our team of 20 nationally-recognized Vitreoretinal Surgeons have established themselves as distinguished physicians, compassionate providers, and key thought leaders in the local and national retina care community. Together, we have grown the practice to include 10 well-equipped offices and a research center with multiple locations stretching from Rockland County to Riverhead.
The practice continues to experience significant growth with expansion in clinical research and new office locations throughout its coverage area.
The candidate should be highly motivated, congenial, possess the highest level of integrity, and be devoted to providing high quality, compassionate patient care, while working to expand our already strong referral base.

Your practice would be highly engaging medically and surgically, and you would enjoy:
- $400k guaranteed salary year one, $500k guaranteed salary year two, and $600k guaranteed salary year three as an associate. Three year path to partnership (no buy in or loans to pay); significant compensation increase once physician makes partner

Requirements
Candidate Requirements:
- Graduate of accredited medical school
- Residency in Ophthalmology
- Fellowship in Vitreoretinal Surgery
- Board certified/board eligible in Ophthalmology
- State licensed in New York or eligible to become state licensed in New York
- Bilingual in Spanish, Mandarin, and/or Korean a plus
